⭐Seem to be a few errors in the code examples which might not be the best for someone starting out with C++.

⭐Some nice ideas but riddled with typos and errors. I wonder did the reviewers even read it. I would would go with Deitel and Deitel instead.

⭐I find the book interesting. It is a very good introduction to scientific programming in the c++ language. I’ll recommend it to other students.

⭐For a concise, informative introduction to programming in c++ (with an emphasis on scientific programming), I found this book by far the best of all that I tried and looked at. It moves quickly to give a broad overview with enough detail to start you on your way. I have to admit, I didn’t read the graphics chapters but they are only a small part of the book. To advance to the next level, a more advanced book is needed but working through this book was a very efficient use of my time to learn the basics of c++ for scientific programming.
