Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I love this book. It’s very educational for a newbie. I have more knowledge now than before. I’ve tried a couple of the recipes and they were delish.

⭐I bought this book because I wanted some more information on being a vegetarian. My goal is to be flexitarian by the end of the year , and egg and dairy free by the end of 2021. I found this book to be a great start if you’re new to vegetarianism. I plan on doing some research on local coops because of the book.

⭐Scanned first now halfway through in-depth read. Really good book.

⭐Purchased when I first considered becoming vegetarian. It was great information and I book that I was able to pass on to others.

⭐Transitioning is a work in progress and this book helps with that process.

⭐Really good book for beginners who want to live a Veggie lifestyle. Must read if you want to learn and are a beginner.

⭐This book might have been interesting at one time, but it’s useless to me.

⭐LOVE this book. So great for any vegetarian new or experienced. Great knowledge on just about anything you could possibly think of. I still go back to this book to reference nutritional information. I believe that this is really the only book you need when wanting to learn about Being and Living the vegetarian life.

⭐I did not find this book useful as it tries to solve veggie needs with eating soy in any kind of format. It does not have the kind of more holistic and thorough approach that other dietician’s books for veggies have. the section on protein could be expanded more (specially the table) and recommended doses of veg etc for other nutrients is missing all together.god as basic introduction, but I would recommend soon moving on to a more comprehensive information source if you don’t what to be stuck with tofu and soy as main form of non animal protein source.

⭐Living Vegetarian for dummies was a factual, cold read. It contains lots of facts about what the author feels constitutes a well rounded diet whilst touching lightly on other issues (being vegetarian with children, whilst pregnant etc). This book did not contain the level of enthusiasm or passion for vegetarianism that is present in many other books on the subject, but that might be exactly what you are looking for.Whilst the majority of the information is accurate the book does have a ‘dated’ feel to it and I found myself on more than one occasion pondering over the fact that opinion on certain issues has moved on. To me, this book would be helpful for an omnivore who was interested in learning ‘facts’ about vegetarianism without the conversion attempts. This book does also cover the basics in a very simplistic way, so if you are just starting out on a meat-free diet it may be worth considering. All in all the book has its merits but (in my opinion) like all other books in this series should be read with the understanding that it is a superficial and factual – from the author’s way of thinking – view.

⭐Well received gift

⭐Who wants to go vegetarian, should read this book

⭐Great book , as described
