Editorial Reviews: Review Matrix Methods, 3e is a hands-on textbook with exercises that teaches the methodology of matrices to undergraduate and graduate non-scientific, scientific and engineering students. About the Author Richard Bronson is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is Senior Executive Assistant to the President. Ph.D., in Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has written several books and numerous articles on Mathematics. He has served as Interim Provost of the Metropolitan Campus, and has been Acting Dean of the College of Science and Engineering at the university in New JerseyGabriel B. Costa is currently a visiting professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point and is on the faculty at Seton Hall. And is an engineer. He holds many titles and fills them with distinction. He has a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has also co-authored another Academic Press book with Richard Bronson, Matrix Methods.

⭐For the subject, this is a very good book. It is very easy to read and the examples are ‘hard’ and thorough enough to get you moving on your own very quickly. Please keep in mind, even though this is a linear algebra book, it is not a linear algebra book. Say WHAT? I say that it is not a linear algebra book in that there are almost no proofs whatsoever. So, if you want a real linear algebra book which includes mathematical proofs you will need to look elsewhere. This book skips most of the proofs and proceeds along the lines of, with out actually saying this, ‘It can be shown that…”

⭐The textbook has great content with simple and easy to understand examples and problems. There is also a COMPLETE set of solutions to all of the books problems in the back of the book! The book is also very small compared with other textbooks and it was a joy to use and learn from!

⭐I have started that book, it couldn’t be more perspicuous, try to always look at the exercises of the chapter you might be astonish by the amount of things you can learn doing so. Excellent book.

⭐Great book one of the easiest to understand books. I was able to teach myself whatever I missed in class from it. Really good worked out examples in the chapters.

⭐As a computer science major, I have some background in mathematics, but I certainly don’t need to do the proofs and all. This book is very easy to understand without getting too “math-y.”

⭐A useful text. Explanations are above average. While not the best it is better than many math texts I have used before.

⭐This is an excellent book covering matrix theory in a nut shell. This book is great for those who have not been exposed to Matrix theory previously. Easy to read; easy to follow.

⭐This book is in poor condition and has marks like those in the attached picture on its pages
