⭐Not Bukowski’s best work. Many of the poems are hit or miss for me, but there are a few gems. One of my favorites of all of his work, “The Last Days of the Suicide Kid” is in this collection. Having read it myself, and listened to him read it, well over 100 times, I think it’s practically worth the price all on its own.

⭐One of Bukowski’s best collections, with many poems not easily obtainable elsewhere. One of the books put edited and released by John Martin while the author was alive and kicking (literally).

⭐This was my first foray into Bukowski’s work and I liked this collection of poems a lot. A good variety of poems that seem to represent his style well.

⭐This was a replacement for one I had that someone borrowed and didn’t return. I guess I’m responsible for others enjoying Bukowski.

⭐He really is.. And this is a great collection of great poems. Love it to bits, gets me through lots of days at school.
