⭐ I got this book really to learn more about Excel and Access, but I ended up reading the whole thing. I find it works best if you have the programs open and you can practice doing the things the author mentions in the book. As far as Excel goes, I’ve just about mastered that program after reading the section on it. At work I’ve put everything on spreadsheets now and it’s made my life a whole lot easier! At first I wasn’t going to read the sections on Word or Outlook because I’ve been using those programs for many years and felt like I already knew everything. However, after reading the sections I was surprised by how much I didn’t know. And how I had been doing things the ‘hard way’ because I was unaware of all the little short cuts and tricks. I highly recommend this book. I was able to go through 2 sections a day, so it took me less then a week to become proficient at Microsoft Office Suite.
⭐ This is an excellent desk reference piece with the basics of each program presented. I would have wished for more in the areas of Power Point and Publisher because those are my particular interests, but that is the sacrifice that must be made when buying any “All-in-One” book. Still, for anyone wanting all the basics of the office software, I don’t think you will find a better product. I recommend it. It proves the point, “Jack of all trades and master of none.”
⭐ This was so long ago, I guess it was helpful.
⭐ This is the best reference book I found on Office 2003. I used it to get familiar with the program and then continued to use it when I needed to do something new or odd. I loved this book the whole time I had Office 2003…but now onto Office 2013.
⭐ Not used much!
⭐ I have worked within the MIS/IT arena for the past 30 years. This book is a GREAT value for the money. You have a total of (9) NINE core products reference material at your fingertips. It answers the most common to the most complex tasks of each product.
