⭐great entry level book. As an IT guy with no carpentry experience, this book put me in the game. Our garage office is super organized. In section they teach how to build a make shift desk by mounting a door on two even filling cabinets. We don’t have even sized filling cabinets however, we used this concept with our office depot plastic mobile drawers with a few pieces of shelving from Lowes. Worked like a charm. The hidden lesson are the interior designing concepts in each room concept. The books chapters are organized by rooms. Lastly, I decided to take this book with me to the Container store. I ended up organizing my entire rental unit aswell as home, garage, office. Their employees and my organizing book was a nice, one-two punch. This book taught me how to buy a drill,.level, screws, screw anchors, etc. Not for the advanced carpenter unless you’re looking for interior design concepts 🙂

⭐Seems like organizing should be relatively simple, right? Unfortunately, not everyone finds it easy to do. I like the Dummies books in general for their humor and simplicity. I found this one to be as helpful as Dummies books I’ve had on other subjects in the past.

    ⭐Very satisfied. No complaints.

⭐I was underwhelmed at the information that came in this book. I have found much better tips and ideas on Pinterest.

⭐I am on a huge de-clutter and organizing whim right now so I was super excited to get this book for organizing tips. The book came today and I tore the box open, sat down, and began to flip through the pages..Didn’t see much that looked too exciting so I started reading through each page, hoping the goodies were hidden in the words…still not much. There may be one or two things in there that I may find useful, but it mostly looks like a handy-man’s guide to hanging shelves. As for the organizational part of the book, it shows a lot of “organizing” items that you can purchase, all things that I have seen before.

⭐Not a bad book, but I think there are better ones. There are more organization strategies than just hanging shelves.

⭐This book tells how to make things that hold more junk. I thought I was getting a good book that I saw in Borders. This is not the book if you want to minimize your stuff and organize your papers. This dummy goofed. I gave it to our library.

⭐I was at a loss. Where do I start organizing every room in my house? The kids were back in school and my house needed some serious attention. After the first 20 pages of this book, I was well on my way! The author gives simple systems to make a daunting task more manageable. As a bonus, this book is funny! I feel like I am talking with a friend about organizing rather than reading a how-to book. I highly recommend this book to anyone getting ready to get organized.

⭐Good book really helped my wife get some stuff done.
