Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I like the “dummies series” for the most part. Photoshop CS3 For Dummies is really not much different than a lot of the other book I have in the dummies series. It is good for starters, like myself, but at times I can’t find exactly what I need to know, so I hit the web and generally there is some nice person that has posted an answer to that question. I print and save those how-to-do whatever answers in a three-ring-notebook and between those and my Photoshop CS3 For Dummies, I am learning. The only problem I have with these types of books is they aren’t quite specific enough at times. It is worth the money, if you can find a used copy.

⭐I have had this book for a while, but have not delved into it much with the holidays. What I have worked with, so far, is easy to follow. Look forward to continuing my study of Photoshop CS3 with this book.

⭐Googling my questions was a lot easier to understand than this book.

    ⭐Great

⭐I am glad to report that this is a GREAT helper in my efforts to learn this difficult program……I keep it by my side and flip to the parts I need when I need them…..Thank goodness for the “Dummies” books……..

⭐I realize that Photoshop is a complex program, but I was hoping this would put it on a more understandable level for me. Not so…goes in from page 1 assuming you are a techie…waste of money for me.

    ⭐not useful =(

⭐This book covered Photoshop pretty good. There was very little info about CS-3 Bridge. Most people that are using Photoshop, have been using it for years. Bridge is new and you would think more information should be available. For example: CS-2 Bridge showed an open file icon next to the thumbnail that was open in Photoshop. So far I have not been able to do this in CS-3 Bridge. Even Adobe did not help with this. Maybe they need a separate book for Bridge and Version Cue.

⭐It’s not for dummies and definitely not for beginners, sorry. I was looking for a book to make simple flyers, posters to share on facebook. I got a book with a lot of details, no real step by step explanations for beginners. I can’t use this book, I can’t start with it, because it’s too professional and wants to explain everything in detail.

⭐I am a casual photo editor and use CS3. This book is well laid out and the instructions are easy to follow. By using this book and following the examples I have managed to get much more out of the software,A very good buy for CS 3 users with easy to follow examples.

⭐product arrived before time estimated for delivery and in condition described online but not as clear cut and as easy to understand for absolute photoshop beginners, have to attend evening classes at college to make it easier to use photoshop

⭐There is lots of information in this book but, unfortunately, it did not hit the right buttons for me; sorry. I felt that I had to reallly concentrate to take in the various aspects when all I really need is a step by step guide.

⭐Described as being in good condition, it arrived well within the estimated delivery time and was in fact in excellent condition. I have purchased other ‘For Dummies’ titles in the past and always found them to be an easily understood and very helpful introduction to whatever subject they cover. I can recommend this item unreservedly.
