⭐Bought this for my nephew- a curious college student who is interested in mathematical theory. Although he received two video games, he spent his winter break working the problems. It was the hit of Christmas. His only frustration is that the problem solutions are directly under the problem rather than at the end of the chapter or book.

⭐For the most part, the initial few chapters are easy to follow. You do already need a decent acquaintance with Linear Algebra. However, it does lay out the major steps of the solutions and you only need to fill in the in-between steps to get to the final solutions.I have yet to find a problem that is formulated incorrectly or major typographical errors. This is one of the few books in the broad subject of quantum where I actually fell like I am actively learning and participating.A small word of caution though. Some of the more mathematical problems don’t really give their physical justification. I would not consider this to be a major fault of the book though. It is a problem set book, and these problems are in the chapters laying out the math and not the physical or computation frame work.

⭐Used this book for a course in QC last year. Excellent text that helps with computational understanding. When I was stuck on a homework problem I would just find a similar problem in the book and study the solution and get a better understanding. The introductions are also very helpful. Would recommend to anybody interested in Quantum Computing and Information Theory.

⭐I love this book. I have a math degree so it’s mostly review on subjects for me but it’s great to get my mind thinking again

⭐Beautiful book that provides a very thorough introduction to the mathematics of Quantum information theory, discusses several important concepts, from mathematical point of view with appropriate examples to enhance understanding, i recommend this book as a mathematical supplementary resource for any person involved in study of Quantum information or Linear Algebra.

Nielsen et Isaac L. Chuang, sous la forme d’exercices corrigés de difficulté progressive. Les deux ouvrages sont indépendants mais ils sont faits l’un pour l’autre.Good book
