Nelson, CPA, MBA (finance), MS (taxation), has a simple purpose in life: He wants to help you (and people like you) manage your business finances by using computers. Oh, sure, this personal mandate won’t win him a Nobel Prize or anything, but it’s his own little contribution to the world. Steve’s experiences mesh nicely with his special purpose. He’s a CPA in Redmond, Washington. He’s an adjunct professor of taxation (S corporations and limited liability companies) at Golden Gate University’s graduate tax school. And, heck, he even used to work as a senior consultant and CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. (er, yeah, that Arthur Andersen –– but, hey, it was 20 years ago). Steve, whose books have sold more than 4 million copies in English and have been translated into 11 other languages, is also the bestselling author of Quicken 2007 For Dummies (Wiley).

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I own a single employee service based business and recently made the jump from Quicken Home & Business to Quickbooks 2007 to prepare for growth, (and to appease my accountant). Quickbooks will take several hours to set up and get running for most people, and nothing beats good old trial and error experience, but this book helped a ton, especially when initially researching and preparing the initial “defining” of my company file. I own several Dummies’ books, have always been a fan of the style of writing, and this book is no exception. Presently, it is the only book I have assisting me in running Quickbooks, and so far, it has been sufficient.

⭐This book convinced me that Quickbooks is not for me, so in that regard it was great. Other than that, this is the typical “Dummies” book, containing way too much chatter and opinion interspersed with the truly useful information. “Dummies” books make me impatient – even though the pertinent material may be exactly what I need, it’s hard to wade through the babble to get to it.

⭐I just got the product today…… being out in the country may have hurt the delivery time…… regardless, very satisfied and no complaints

⭐This book is so informative and FUNNY!! Mr. Nelson is so witty, I ended up reading the whole book. Even the parts that don’t apply to what I am doing…just because I wanted to see what funny things he would say. I highly recommend it for anyone who uses QuickBooks 2007. I learned some cool tips!

⭐I needed to learn QuickBooks and think this will help me.

⭐Just what I needed to help train myself faster and to understand the system’s functions for frequent and not-so-frequent needs.

⭐Perfect explanation for the basics of Quickbooks although not for specific versions but information applies to all versions.

    ⭐very helpful

⭐I ordered Quicken 2007 and the Quick Books version was delivered to my device. When looking at my order details it says Quicken so I am not sure why I was give a guide to the wrong type of software.

    ⭐Excellent book. Delivered promptly.
