Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐2004!!! Need’s revision. Does not apply to present Quickbooks online. Therefore it doesn’t deserve the right to sell the title name.2004 is like 20 years ago in today’s technology. If you want a book on accounting, buy a book on accounting. This has nothing to do with Quickbooks online. And the more I am graspingthe concept, “online” is the way Quickbooks is trying to transform into.Just my two cents.Don’t buy it unless you are trying to buy mine that I’m trying to sell used.

⭐Ok I wanted to get the Cliff Notes version about the software, and this book was just as wordy as the software…so I added to my library of “dummies” books and got frustrated reading it. It was ok if you want to make lots of post it notes sticking out….why must it all be so complicated. It seems well written but not really much shortcuts to getto know the software.

⭐It doesn’t specify that it is for Windows. Since I use a Mac, I had to extrapolate. Also, it is far from “simple.” Written by a CPA, it is almost impossible to follow. I had to call my CPA to set up my bank accounts. I am winging it with my client invoices. It just doesn’t provide what I needed.

⭐This book really helped me to understand QuickBooks Simple Start much better than I expected. You really need this book, if you have Simple Start. Everything is explained in a clear manner and it’s very easy to understand the program. If you are stuck, I suggest you buy the book. It will come in handy for any problem you may be having or may have in the future.

⭐I got this book and realized I needed bookkeeping for dummies which I then purchased. I didn’t know anything about a chart of accounts or depreciation. I will come back to it after I get a better handle on the accounting stuff. It seems like it will be helpful once I have QuickBooks set up. I would recommend it.

⭐I was disappointed initially because I could not register the softwhere. I reviewed the product negatively; the selled reimbursed be the cost and shipping. I thought that I had edited the review but it remained negative. I would like to change the review.

⭐Good book, it is a great help and easy to follow and understand.Thank you, Sr. Yolanda D. MMB

⭐The description of this item clearly states that this book is from 2004. Somehow, I missed this information. This book is outdated. Don’t waste your money!

⭐As a Brit who is learning the ‘American Way’ by being thrown in the deep end, I found QB extremely useful. The friendly chatty style helps to alleviate any frustrations as you learn and some of the jokes are so bad they are brilliant! The thought process behind Nelson’s approach to teaching Quick Books is very simple to understand and is explained clearly – Hey, if ‘QB’ has taught me how to use this system,’Quick Books’ can teach anyone!!

⭐I had The Dummies book on QB 2013, but wondered how this early edition focusing on the Simple Start version might help. It is honestly not much different to the 2013 Edition for fuller QB, but handy to check on my Kindle

⭐Quite good, did help in a little way.
