Description

This book provides a comprehensive, step-by-step treatment of the state-space H…à control theory, reflecting recent theoretical developments this area, in particular, and in the area of robust and H… à control theory in general. It offers as self-contained a presentation as possible and, for reference sake, includes many background results on linear systems, the theory and application of Riccati equations and model reduction.

User’s Reviews

Editorial Reviews: From the Publisher Class-tested at major institutions around the world and regarded as an “instant classic” by reviewers, this work offers the most complete coverage of robust and Hà control available. The clarity of the overall methodology: how one sets a problem up, introduces uncertainty models, weights, performance norms, etc. set this book apart from others in the field. Offers detailed treatment of topics not found elsewhere including — Riccati equations, m theory, Hà loopshaping, controller reduction, how to formulate problems in a LFT form. Key results are given immediately for quick access in the beginning of the book. Overall the book serves as a tremendous self-contained reference by having collected and developed all the important proofs and key results available. Problems sets are available on Internet. ⭐Good Book.

⭐Book fundamental to the study of the subject. Delivered in good conservation conditions.

⭐This book is suitable espcially for those who are familiar with optimal control fundamentals. It is written in very good style, not difficult to understand. Problem solutions are derived rigorously and many proofs are given. I liked this book as textbook and it is also a great reference. I often use the first part of the book where important parts of math are explained. My opinion is, if you are interested in optimal and robust control in more rigorous way, you will not regret buying this book.

⭐Nice book
