Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I feel like this book could’ve gone more in depth. A lot of what this book covers could likely be found by searching “Stock investing basics” and reading FREE online articles on the subject. In other words, don’t invest in this book on investing.

⭐This book clearly lays out the stock buying process and what you should look for and stay away from. Obvious the secret to getting rich is not in here as the stock market is a gamble, but for someone who knew nothing at all about the stock market this was a very easy and informative read. Great starting point and it mentions books and place to go for further education.

⭐It serves as a good primer on how to judge a company’s stock, and covers the basics of investing and terminology. But he really emphasizes stock picking, despite the fact that stock picking is a pretty discredited investing strategy. The writing is also very redundant. Read this to learn the abc’s, then read any other book to learn actual investing strategies.

⭐I usually don’t bother to write reviews, but I was so impressed with this one that I felt I had to share. I generally like the Dummies books. They usually accomplish their goal of explaining a topic in easy to understand terms, and this is important to me. I found this to be very true for this book. I knew nothing about the stock market and figured it was about time to find out. This book explained not only the basics but even some more advanced concepts in a very easy to understand manner. Good value. Kudos to the author.

⭐I’ve always like the Dummy books as I have a few on other industries. I have only read about a chapter or so and really enjoy his examples for comparisons.”From a safety point of view, a company’s size and market value do matter. All things being equal, large cap stocks are considered safer than small cap stocks. However, small cap stocks have greater potential for growth. Compare these stocks to trees: Which tree is sturdier, a giant California redwood or a small oak tree that’s just a year old? In a great storm, the redwood holds up well, whereas the smaller tree has a rough time. But you also have to ask yourself which tree has more opportunity for growth. The redwood may not have much growth left, but the small oak tree has plenty of growth to look forward to.”Very simple example but it gets the point across. This book is great for all investors as it helps you use it for resources no matter where you are in your investing career.

⭐This book will stop you from going broke “if” you read it and abide by it. How much you make off of investments is definitely a very individual, no story will be the same, type of experience. No two people or portfolios are the same. No two people are ready at the same time. But when you are, it’s an excellent pick up for the price and I doubt you’ll be disappointed. I get more confident and excited with every chapter. Best investment I’ve made yet even though I already own a few stocks. I regret not reading this book before I made my initial investment. This book should have been my initial investment. I’m pretty sure I’d be hundreds of dollars ahead, if not a couple thousand.

⭐First book that I’ve read that explains the stock market and investing in stocks. There is a lot to learn and some of it can be quite complicated but I appreciate Paul’s explanations and his sense of humor. Great little reference book to refer back to in understanding the terms and strategies of stock market investing because there is a lot to absorb and understand.

⭐Very poor product from my viewpoint. He says it’s for beginners and “dummy” books usually are. But in my opinion, Paul is out of touch with reality if he thinks that a beginner can understand this book. He writes it for seasoned investors who have a clear understanding of all the investment strategies and terminology. For that reason, because he’s so lacking credibility with this book and title, I believe, I decided not to buy anything from any of his titles of books. I sent this back for a full refund. And if you are a beginner, I suggest you buy from a different author who really gives you a beginners book that you can use and understand. If you are a seasoned investor, this book, I think, would work fine for you.

⭐È un manuale didattico, ben scritto è di facile comprensione per principianti e per chi vuole ripassare qualche nozione. Molto efficaci i riassunti di fine capitolo

⭐No me sirvió, lo siento pero es la verdad!

⭐This is a grear book for any person that is looking for a good introduction on stocks. You will go back and check it out again. I recommend it

⭐It is a very useful book that introduces the reader to the stock exchange in simple words. I am new to the stock exchange and this book has given me the basics to start trading by myself. The book accomplishes its mission very well. It has sparked in me the flame for learning more about the subject.

⭐Was a gift
