⭐The book is not very good at explaining the math. It might be ok for a class room study book where the instructor can explain what the book doesn’t but it is not very good for an individual wanting to learn on there own.

⭐This book provides an overview of nearly all of the key concepts structural engineers will encounter in practice. The conceptual discussions include key equations (often with derivations) along with some simple example problems. No topic is covered in great depth (and sometimes the coverage is somewhat superficial), but this is understandable, since there’s a lot to cover and the book already runs about 700 pages as it is. Recommended for engineers seeking an introduction or review of the fundamentals.
