Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐This book made it possible to start using SugarCRM. I have several copies, for me and my staff, and refer to it all the time as I work on areas unfamiliar to me. My staff are very happy to have the book which sheds light on how to correctly use the system.I could have used a better explanation of how to create custom modules but to be fair that’s pretty advanced work to tackle in a work like this. The author has made the whole system much more approachable and wrote it all in a light, fun style. If you are trying to make head or tales of how to get started with SugarCRM, or are a current user struggling to figure it out, this book is a must.

⭐Great book to get started with Sugar!
⭐very good step by step instructions on how to use Sugar. Easy to use and easy to understand. Very reasonable price too.
⭐Given the lack of vetted, compiled resources available for SugarCRM, this is the place to start for a new non-coding sugar admin. It has the basic information that should be easily accessible via help files or FAQs in most software. Sadly, Sugar’s support information is scattered randomly through user forums and 10-line ‘training’ articles hidden deep within the Sugar corporate site (or, more likely, on the sites of third-party developers). The author does a nice job organizing the material. Still, you can’t just quickly scan the TOC to find the topic you need…the author cloaks the subject matter in annoying sugar-related references and titles; you’ll often need to turn to the actual material to figure out what is being addressed. Editor and author – please, for love of all that is holy, remove all the sugar jokes from the next edition…or at least limit them to the introduction. “Cooking with Sugar” is funny early in the book. By the time you’ve used “Keeping Bugs out of the Sugar Bowl” for chapter 11, the joke has worn thin. And that’s just on the first pass…this is a reference book, remember?
⭐I’m not sure what that other reviewer was smoking…. I’ve read this book, and it’s good. Like Karen’s other books, it’s well-written, insightful, and demonstrates her good knowledge of the product. Karen’s writing is fun and vibrant, and that makes the book easy to get through. That other review has so many personal attacks directed at the author that it makes me wonder what the motive was for writing the review. I’ve known Karen for a dozen years, and she’s a skilled consultant and great writer. You should buy this book. Don’t hesitate.
⭐Nothing new in here that you cant see on the sugar or suite CRM website guides
