    User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I read Charles Dickens in high school for En glish literature class.I just thought that having the collection will help save my precious school days memories.

⭐Lewis Carroll is great. I just re-read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass for the first time in many years and I really enjoyed them. I haven’t read the rest of this book recently but years ago I read Sylvie and Bruno which was pretty good but pales in comparison to the Alice books. Some of the nonsense verse is also quite good, especially the Hunting of the Snark. Carroll was really one of the great English fantasy writers and the Alice books are classics which everyone should read.

⭐Louis Carroll (1832-1898), so popular in the 19th century, is still one of the best writers we have today. I use his work for inspiration all the time. what most people are unaware of is his uncle was a Commisioner of Asylums and was murdered by a “lunitic” who jabbed a shaperend nail in his uncle’s head and killed him. the poem “The Hunting of the Snark” was a nonsensical version of that murder. so we don’t know how many wounds he hid in his prose. one of the best writers of all times & one of the best photographers. see “Dreaming In Pictures”.

⭐Wow, all of Lewis Carroll’s work in one, inexpensive and easy-to-carry-and-store purchase! Nicely illustrated, except I wish many of the illustrations and photographs were larger, but I’m glad to have them at all, especially in a Kindle edition. I haven’t looked over everything yet (there’s a LOT, and I just bought it), but the format seems easy to navigate. Although I have something similar in hardcover book form, I’m happy to have the all the novels, poems and other writings – plus biographies – in a Kindle version.

⭐Like all the Delphi Collections, this one has an almost exhaustive compilation of the author’s work, as well as other features. If you were introduced as I was to Lewis Carroll through the Alice In Wonderland books, this includes those as well as other treasures. Well worth the money.

⭐Wonderful collection from an amazing mind. Fantastic stories filled with wit and imagination.

⭐The time has come the Walrus said, to talk of many things. Of shoes, of ships, of sealing wax: of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings. Brilliant writer, enjoyed on many levels. What a wonderfulescape from the bore sitting next to you in seat 14E.

⭐I’m a big fan of the public domain books, as most of them are free on Kindle (i.e. Mark Twain, The Federalist Papers, anything in between, etc.), so to find the full collection of Lewis Carroll was fantastic! Highly recommend.

⭐Unfortunately it is pretty discoloured. I’d rather of paid more and had a cleaner version but hey ho it’s readable

⭐This is the second review of a Delphi Classic edition I have written and, like the first, I would like to commend it for its layout, clarity of style and – rare thing this in ebooks whatever the price – its near perfect spelling. I have just purchased the third book and, given their quality and price, I shall be buying more Delphi Classics.

⭐This item is NOT as listed. I was interested to read “Alice’s adventures underground ” an earlier version of Alice in wonderland but this was NOT on the kindle version of the book despite being listed in the description on Amazon. That said, still good value at 99p

⭐Great book, fast delivery from US.

⭐All Lewis Carroll’s works in one volume – fantastic. Great to read all my childhood favourites all over again.
