Description

Written by leading scholars in the field, this authoritative text presents an engaging and balanced narrative of the central developments in Western history. Seamlessly integrating coverage of social, cultural, and political history, the presentation reflects a flexible chronological organization. The Tenth Edition provides updated scholarship, expanded coverage of European imperialism prior to World War I, streamlined coverage of the period between the two World Wars, and a brand new feature—Compare & Connect—which presents students with two or more documents that reflect opposing viewpoints on a topic and engages them to become part of the historical discourse.

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This is a really great book! Expensive though.I enjoy it a lot. Now I lend it to one of my friend!!

⭐This book is exceptional for any person wanting to learn about the bible for the first time or for those who want to gain additional knowledge of any aspect of the Bible. This book is a gem and one that will light up anyone who pursues to study in depth. I truly recomend this book to all. A great study tool for bible studies.

⭐Very good info, a little vague on descriptions of events, not people though. Book is not easy to follow standard reading considering lack of organization of side note and direct relation pages interruptions

⭐The Western Heritage book was good. It had lots of wonderful pictures and the review questions at the end of the chapter was very helpful.

⭐Great overview of modern European history. Used this book for AP European History class. Extremely informative, great pictures, and good topic outlines and questions at the beginning and ending of the chapters.

⭐This book was used for school purposes, but what I found interesting were the massive amounts of errors. There are historical errors, name errors, grammatical and spelling errors to name the least. A poor job was obviously done editing and reviewing the material in this book. The only upside was that the content was quite interesting history wise (when it was correct). Also, on a final note, there were many important historical events left out (e.g., Armenian Genocide of 1918), most likely out of political fear.

⭐I ordered this book and paid 20.00 extra to have it shipped in two days. It did not come in two days, however I was very pleased with the sellers because the quality was brand new and it saved me money. My suggestion yes use this seller do not pay extra for quick delivery.

⭐Was exactly what I was looking for to help my Daughter study Her AP Euro History Class. Now she can Highlight the relevant study material to make it easier for her to study.
