Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I was in a bit of a quandary as to how to rate this book. I bought the book and the companion “Trigonometry for Dummies” to refresh my trig skills, long rusted after nearly 50 years of little use. Both books are really quite good although the workbook could be more comprehensive. The big problem with this workbook, and to a lesser extent with the “Trigonometry for Dummies” book, is the large number of errors and typos in the book. One works out a very complicated identity problem only to find that the stated problem is different from the problem answered due to typographical errors. I don’t think I went seven pages without finding an error. Most of the errors were changed minus or plus signs. This made maintaining confidence in the book very difficult. One would think that a big publisher like Wiley would employ competent proofreaders. I would also expect them to have an errata sheet somewhere on their web page. But, nooo, nothing helpful there at all except a glossary they forgot to put in the main trig book.Overall, both books were very helpful, with the exception of not having a lot of confidence that the answer to the problem I was trying to solve would be correct.

⭐There is absolutely no way that this item should have a 4.5 star rating. I am giving it 1 star for the errors alone. There must be 40-50 errors (by errors I mean wrong answers to problems) in this book. Normally I would keep track, but in this case there were just too many. This book shouldn’t have been allowed to go into print like this and Mary Jane Sterling should be ashamed to show her face in her classroom. Completely unacceptable. I’m glad she didn’t write a book on how to wire a house! I did every single problem in Michael Kelley’s Humongous Book of Algebra problems and his Humongous Book of Geometry problems. Between the two books there may have been 6 or 7 errors and there were 1,000+ problems in each. I did every problem in this book too, as Mr. T would say “I pity the fool that has never had Trigonometry before and relies on this book” – you’re in for a world of hurt if you can’t identify the errors.Furthermore, explanations are mediocre at best. The Trigonometric Identities section was the only redeeming quality. I don’t doubt she’s a good mathematician, but she’s no writer. I’m not going to detail all of this the errors alone warrant a one star review.Edit: I took a college trig course after reading this book. Skip this altogether, get a textbook, and work out of the text book. I can’t overstate enough how lacking this book is compared to a text book.

⭐Difficult to use even for a dummy

⭐Good practice book

⭐Bought this for my daughter who struggles with math. She felt that the Geometry for Dummies helped so we bought this with the workbook. She says it helps. Since I have no memmory of my Trig class, I am glad that this is a good substitute. Whew!

⭐It really helped my daughter and it came undamaged.

⭐I need this book as a reference book for seventh grade math since written on a level that seventh graders can comprehend. Additionally, the examples in the workbook are applicable and adequate for seventh graders. It seems that Amazon.com is my ‘turn to place’ to find books that I need. It is a total waste of time to try to find books locally, either their web site are convoluted or misrepresent themselves to draw you into their establishments. I give Amazon.com an ‘Atta boy.’

⭐This is one of the many books I have bought through Amazon and I am very satisfied with it. Anytime I order a book that is described as good or excelent condition they come in and look brand new. This was no exception, it came in looking like a new book…

⭐I am trying to self teach myself maths and find this a good thorough book on Trigonometry which I need.

⭐Delivered less than 48 hours after ordering – perfect! Fantastically detailed, perfect book to help my son 🙂

⭐brilliant with main book

⭐All perfect.

⭐A great help for my daughter in her studies
