⭐”Make sure that your cellphone carrier has an unlimited text-messaging plan…” ~ p.59I’ve read a few Twitter books and found them all helpful. Yet when I started reading “Twitter for Dummies” I knew it was one of the smartest purchasing decisions I’ve made this year! To be mild, this book is comprehensive!I was halfway through reading when I got hungry and headed off to a Thai restaurant for dinner. I was surprised to hear a group of young people discussing Twitter at the table besides ours. There eyes sort of lit up when they talked about it, they were in love! While reading later at home I started to write down all the recommended websites that enhance the Twitter experience. I have a full page of great sites to explore. If you use your cellphone a lot there are ways to set up “quiet time” so you are not completely overwhelmed by tweet notifications. This could get interesting if you are following thousands of people. Some unexpected information was about a site called […] There I found an HDTV on a really good sale. This book also discusses and explains google alerts. Then there are places to get cool background pictures. One of the main messages in this book is how you can use tweeting for business purposes. Cautions and warnings are given emphasis is on making friends and solving customer problems on Twitter. There is also a quick way to invite all your email friends to start participating in all the Twitter fun. This book introduced me to @secrettweet which is a site where you can post your deepest darkest secret anonymously. It is a bit like reading those intriguing PostSecret books. Some of the revelations may be a bit shocking.By the end of reading this book, which took me three days, you will have a much deeper understanding of how to tweet following Twitter etiquette. The authors are very wise and they want you to stay safe. With this book you will make wise decisions and learn how to navigate around the site like a pro. The only other books I’d recommend you read besides this one is

⭐.@rebeccareviewI tweet about new books I’m reading and other fun stuff.

⭐It covers a wide spectrum of uses for Twitter in many different applications whether for pleasure or business. It is a bit repetitive at times but covers so much information that maybe that is needed. It might be best to read the introductory book before moving to this one to get the best use out of Twitter.

⭐Having a stream of ideas, thoughts and emotions from people you care about flowing past that you can dip in and out of when you wish is a profound change. Twitter for Dummies explains clearly, thoughtfully and with copious examples how this quiet revolution in communications works, and how you can take part in it. The sparkling conversational tone draws you in while providing clear instructions and very sensible advice. Though a long-time Twitter user myself, I found things I didn’t know here too. I’d recommend it for anyone wanting to become part of the new social web.

⭐As with the “Dummies” books, this one is clear and concise and gives the reader the right how-to’s to engage with Twitter!

⭐I found the book to be very informative I was able to follow all the instructions to the letter, I’m no longer a twitter dummy.# success!

⭐The book is good as practically all books “for dummies” are, however in the case of twitter the client applications develop so fast that I don’t think anybody could write this book and keep the pace with everything that is developing. My advice: start using twitter and you will learn (And will never cease to learn).Juan J. RamirezHotSmart Plates inventor

⭐Interesting read

⭐Old version

⭐A much needed tome, but a little bit self congratulatory, perhaps is just American vanity. For me twitter is about ‘listening’ to other peoples views but this book seems more inclined to those seeking the cathartic venting of ones spleen or the self promoting egotist working under the delusion that anyone gives a xxxx about what they think. That is not the books fault.

⭐I ordered this book expected it to be ‘New” and when it came it had a rip on the cover and first few pages and also had scratches al over the cover. The fact that this was intended for a present made it all that much worse and of course its completely unacceptable for a gift. It also looks like I’m not getting a refund either. So a complete waste of money.
