Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐There are quite a few websites that will teach you the skill a whole lot cheaper than this book. Unless you can get it for next to nothing, stick to free or cheap websites and cheap references.

⭐NOT UPDATED, I HAVE NOT READ ALL…TOO OLD INFO

⭐This book “Web Design for Dummies” is instructive, laid out fairly well for reference and has some good tips. Arrived in a timely manner in clear plastic.

⭐Really helped me get my outdated web skills up to par. What it didn’t provide, it told me where to find.

⭐I love this book I cant stop reading it thank you Amazon

⭐Dummies books are very well written and useful.

⭐Just what I needed to start learning how to handle our website.

⭐Excellent product, great price, fast shipping, hope to buy from this seller again…

⭐I am starting a degree in a few weeks and one of the modules is Web Design. I wanted to have something to give me some background information so I didn’t feel like a fish out of water when I arrived! This book had lots of information, but as someone who is a total beginner I found that it actually confused me more than when I started! First of all, the vocabulary has no definition, so certain words are used and I am frantically trying to find out what they even mean, in the end I had google up and had to look up each word just so I know what they were talking about!I am sure that to someone who has at least done a little web design before they might find it helpful, but from a beginners point of view this has actually made me even more worried about my course because it’s now sitting on the shelf with me trying to avoid it!On a plus – lots and lots of information, I am hoping once I start the course this might become less terrifying and actually be a real help, but you definitely need a foundation there before you start it.

⭐This book was exactly what I was looking for. It isn’t just another coding book for my collection (true there is some coding in here, if that’s what you seek) it covers the whole web development process and in enough depth to make it useful. I guess I’m the “ideal customer” for the book, I’m starting out as a web developer in the early stages of getting customers. This guide covers everything from choosing colours to uploading onto the server.

⭐Whilst comprehensive it starts from a point of some relative IT knowledge. Does not suit complete novice who wants a ‘monkey see monkey do’ approach that requires minimal tech expertise

⭐As per other books in the series. For dummies takes you through everything you need

⭐Bought it as a present for my 12 year old freak son in law. He loved it so I love it too.
