Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Has basics of power shell, however latest version is power shell 7 now

⭐…NOT so good if you’ve only just started. The version doesn’t have the same commands as PowerShell 3, and the author leaves out one very important step that would make the world of difference when running ANY scripts in PS. I had to learn this from someone in my office who is a PowerShell guru.

⭐This book is an OK introduction to Powershell. A good way to learn Powershell is too look at the Microsoft Website. There are many tutorials there.I also found several other websites that have great tutorials that are easy to follow.

    ⭐Administering Windows Server 2012

⭐If you have Windows 7 then you have powershell version 2.0. This book is written for version 2.0 CTP3 which is a Community Technology Preview. Which means it is beta and now OLD.The problem started on page 29 listing commands in version 2.0 CTP3 that do not exist in the production version that comes with Windows 7. The commands arnt’ slightly different they are wildly different.[…] doesn’t list any corrections so don’t bother with this book.

⭐seems to be in good condition, just with there was a windows powershell 3 for dummies out to read up on.

⭐The most important thing is it’s at the level of this is all new

⭐Its a Dummies book. Can’t go wrong with any of them.

⭐Within the first 2 pages, I started to smell something fishy. A page later I twigged what it was, this book was published 2009, what this means is that the book describes how Powershell will work on every flavour of Windows and there is absolutely no mention of Windows 10 (released 2015)! Can you see the fundamental problem?

⭐I can refer to it if I need to know something about windows powershell

⭐Great quality item delivered on time

⭐Las explicaciones son muy completas, y resulta un manual muy sencillo de seguir. Los ejemplos más avanzados no son ya tanto para dummies. Ojo, está en inglés.

⭐Easy to understand and very informative but it only gets 4 stars from me as I bought the Kindle edition and it is almost impossible even using Kindle for pc to see anything on the screenshots
