It is believed that this book, prepared by the Computer Sciences Corporation under the able direction of Dr. James Wertz, provides this type of reference. This book can serve as a reference for individuals involved in mission planning, attitude determination, and attitude dynamics; an introductory textbook for stu­ dents and professionals starting in this field; an information source for experimen­ ters or others involved in spacecraft-related work who need information on spacecraft orientation and how it is determined, but who have neither the time nor the resources to pursue the varied literature on this subject; and a tool for encouraging those who could expand this discipline to do so, because much remains to be done to satisfy future needs.

⭐There is nothing wrong with the book itself, but when I purchased it, it was advertised as a hardcover book. The book that arrived was very clearly soft cover. For that I am giving it two stars.

⭐This is a engineering text book. Do I need to say anything more? Since I am one and had a need to know, I purchased the book and use it as a reference book for my work.For anyone else, it can be used to dull the senses at night to allow you to get to sleep, reading just a few pages will have your brain shutting down to preserve itself.

⭐This is the book that was recommended to me by several co-workers when I was a young engineer entering the satellite industry and needing to understand attitude control. I’ve used this book many times working at multiple aerospace companies. The appendices contain exhaustive and reliable descriptions of attitude-related mathematics.

⭐The book is well written and explains things step by step giving good explanations with every little steps. Of course, some aspects are more difficult to follow than others, but in general, it can be followed.
