Description

Disguised as a police officer, he meets up with movie writer Perry Weston and persuades him to drive to Weston’s remote fishing lodge. ⭐ Excellent, fast paced and very exciting. There is no doubt that James Hadley Chase is the master of story telling. No one can write a thriller like him and he is absolutely timeless. I could not put my Kindle down once I started.

⭐ Chase has authored many books – some are – candidly – boring. And some I have not been able to put down.”We’ll share a double funeral” is one such gripping narration.While the summary of the plot is run of the mill (a couple held hostage by a dangerous fugitive), the details of thecharacters (an amiable husband who is hoping against hope to save his marriage, an aging sheriff who isfighting his aging frame to arrest the fugitive, a solicitous and loving wife who silently aids her husband) make thisa plot one could almost relate to.

⭐ James Hadley Chase is one of my favourite Author, and this book is very good to read. It is one of those book, once you start to read it you don’t want to put it down. It has a very satisfactory ending.

⭐ Fast moving and captivating

⭐ Great. Like all novels by James Hadley Chase. However there many patches. Sheila was trouble for Weston. She had to die and she was killed.

⭐ Scintillating, the span out was nice with so many characters, however a bit predictable at the end, can be a great film.

⭐ Non stop thriller. Being a hard core Chase fan could guess what is going to happen. I could not keep the book down without finishing it
