⭐I loved this book. Done in the “for Dummies” format, the book is a pleasure to read. The layout allows you a choice of reading straight through or looking up specific topics like local attractions and great places to eat. Lots of insider tips and details, great information for the casual visitor or someone who has recently moved to The City. ⭐Went to San Francisco this April 2010, had a great time. I did spend a lot of time researching the city, first time there, and found this book as well as others very valuable. I would recommend you do as much research as possible before your first trip out. This book had a lot of insightful knowledge that definitely made our trip more enjoyable. Easy to read, referenced it many times both before and during our stay.

⭐Like all the “Dummies” travel guides, this book is the best! Written in a conversational style, the information is broken down in easy to read chunks. The recommendations were all spot-on (don’t miss Dottie’s True Blue Cafe!) and the maps were invaluable!

⭐Easy and fun to read. We leave for SF in 5 weeks. Was there in1980 but so many changes! This book will make our trip simpler and more relaxed.
