Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I am not related to nor do I know the author or publisher in any way.I would pay $200 for this book. It gave me all of the information I needed to understand and set up my wireless system so I could use it for WiFi.I searched the web for hours for the information I needed, and came up empty-handed.I am a novice in these matters but the web and the other books I bought on this subject, assumed that I already knew the basics. I didn’t!I read this book and it taught me everything I needed to get up and running.Anyone saying you don’t need this book is not interested in your welfare.I thank God for this book and this author.

    ⭐Good Product! Description as Expected!

⭐This book is good for people like me who knew nothing at all about wireless connections. It’s a bit outdated, but has plenty of useful information.

    ⭐Good to have on hand.

⭐Execellent. I had a lot, and mean a lot of questions as a RVer on how to get the most from my computer while traveling and it answered them all. Got the book from the library but as soon as it is updated to cover Windows 7 I will purchase. I don’t know how it could have received a bad review. Good job Haley.

⭐As usual with the “For Dummies” books, it follows through with wonderful information provided in layman’s terms using great wit and humor. Even if you had no interest in the particular topic they are great reading and informative.

⭐There is a growing set of people who often access the Web remotely. One extreme is a group identified by this book – retirees who cruise the nation in RVs, and who want a reliable and cheap way to stay connected. You do not have to be in this select bunch to read the book. You might merely need occasional net access when on the road.Haley shows how to find and use hot spots. Often these are free. Sometimes, they are inadvertantly access points that have been made available for anyone, because the owner didn’t follow some setup steps. For these, it’s up to you whether to risk using them or not. Though it might be argued that how can you tell that the owner did not mean to make a hot spot freely available? The book also describes phoning across the Internet, using VoIP. It can be much cheaper than using payphones. Though sound quality might be erratic. But for many people, that might be an acceptable tradeoff.
