Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Before I painted the interior of my house, with the help of a friend, I decided to see if anything new had been developed since I last did any painting. This book made it easy to plan my work, keep problems to a minimum and then work my plan. I lent it to the man who will get on the ladder to reach the high spots and ceilings. If you have not painted in a while, this is a great review.

⭐This book give good clear instructions and never got so technical that it bored me. I carried it around with me for days (something I don’t usually do with any book). The lists of tools and things needed for everything from basic painting to specific projects is a great help. It is a wonderful book for beginning painters, those wanting to “touch up” their skills or individuals wanting to get a little more creative with paint.

⭐I went from being know-nothing to doing a tolerable job painting an interior room in a few hours, using this book. However more than a 1/3rd of it is about fancy painting methods that few people are likely to use, whereas the thing that I found extremely difficult — clean up — is barely touched at all. Where the book really falls down is guiding you through the many gizmo options at the hardware store. I found some of them highly useful. Also, I severely burned my hands using a paint stripper with the wrong gloves, and this book was no help at all avoiding that. This book might be a reasonable overview, but no way should you launch into a major, time-critical project such as painting an entire room without a lot of other homework, such as watching Internet videos on specific problem areas. And plan to make a LOT of trips to the hardware store.

    ⭐No bad, little old

    ⭐great was good value

⭐The book is greatly detailed. As the title infers even a dummy could paint properly with the help of this book.

    ⭐Love these books!

⭐As with most painting books, I found a lot of the information to be re-hashed and fairly basic.I’m planning to write My own painting book with some info that’s a lot more helpful. Maybe it’s OK for dummies, butfir smarter painters, they probably know more than what this book reveals already.

⭐i did not realise this was a american book .not in plain english not up to uk standard my advice check before you buy

⭐This was bought as a christmas present for my wife. She has’nt seen it yet but I am sure she will love it. I am very happy with this product. A quick & easy service. Many thanks.

⭐Maybe not what I expected ! A little too basic for me ! If you know nothing about painting , a good book!
