Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I bought this book after I had already decided that Typepad is the blogging platform I would be using. It answered every little question that I was wondering about–design issues, coding, which price package to purchase, how to monetize the blog, how to connect it to social media networks, how to register a domain name, how to upload photos, how to handle the comments section, etc. It was (and still is) absolutely essential reading for a Typepad user. Very easy to follow and full of the most helpful information. Many thanks to the authors for saving me untold amounts of time trying to figure out Typepad myself! Worth every penny and then some. This was possibly the best how-to manual that I’ve ever read–clear, to the point, and chock-full of valuable, time-saving information that I will definitely put to good use every time I use my blog.

⭐This review is strictly for the Kindle edition. I downloaded the preview of this book on my Kindle after narrowing down my blogging options to TypePad and WordPress. The content is great and I like the writing, but I’m surprised that the publishers would even offer a Kindle edition of this book, rendering it nearly useless. The graphics of the screen shots that are in the book are not legible on a Kindle, so after paying for the Kindle download I now have to go out and buy the real book to see the graphics.

⭐The TypePad for Dummies Book by Melanie Nelson and Shannon Lowe is worth every penny. Even if you’re using TypePad every day to manage your blog, like I do at […], it is still a very good desk-side reference to have. It’s already saved me probably 2-3 hours of time looking around on TypePad’s site trying to figure out how to do something or tweak a function, etc. As a person who has bounced around on several blog platforms over the years, I would be remiss if I didn’t say too that the TypePad folks are very helpful when you need them, and the book just adds to the available tools which keeps me with TypePad! Great resource here for sure! Buy it for sure.

⭐I bought the book when it was full price right when it was added to Amazon for pre-order. The book is a complete waste of time and money. Trying to find answers for the most basic of questions is nothing short of frustrating. The index is dreadful. The book has been of little help and things I would like to do on Typepad I still can’t unless I write to the Typepad Help desk with my questions. No wonder the book is now on clearance. What a waste of money.

⭐Buying this book was the best thing I could have done for my blog. It’s thorough, easy to navigate, and written in layman’s terms. I love Typepad, but it can be tricky and the help section can be frustrating. This book is the perfect solution! I’m looking forward to really playing with my blog’s design as I read through the book!

⭐What a great little book! At first i was reluctant to order any title that was aimed at ‘dummies’ because, like most of us I thought I wasn’t dumb! Well, I was dumb – dumb about how simple using Typepad is when you have this book in front of you!As the book says – you can read from cover to cover, or jump to chapters you need as you need them. It works! However, after only three weeks of looking at Typepad for Dummies I STILL need it – like a bible! My usage criteria: my blog is a business blog; I am not HTML or code savvy; but I am learning very quickly how to build a community thanks to Typepad for dummies!!

⭐This is by far the best guide to TypePad and blogging that I have ever read. You can skip chapters, if you wish, or simply read through just like I did. Not only is this book an excellent guide for beginners but it is also a valuable resource for any experienced blogger.

⭐Gave me all the info I needed to make the best decision.
