Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐The book is very fundamental but I need this anyway. This book provides clarifications on the basic of trading. You will find terminologies quickly that you will need for trading which is very helpful to me. Don’t expect this book to show you how to make money but to understand how trading works.

⭐IMHO The reason the “for dummies” brand has been successfull aside from the catchy name, is the actual content and material of the books themselves. This book has been a great read for some one like myself that already had an idea of what investing entails, but that does not preclude total beginners with no idea from gaining an immense amount of great information from this book.It is written in plain language and is a great place for a beginner to start his journey.

⭐This book offers everything you could ask for as a new investor. The author does a great job at covering all the technical terms of investing. The information is displayed in a coherent fashion. First they teach you the terms and then they show how the terms are used in the market. The analysis that this book teaches you helps you develop your own style of trading. this is not a magic book that has all the secrets on how to become rich through investments and dividends. This book teaches how to understand the market. You as the investor ultimately make the decisions on what to invest. The book teaches you how to avoid loses and how to maximize your gains. I would refer this book to any one who is just starting out. If you are an investor you might not find this book to interesting because of the detail that the book puts into teaching you about the market. You may find some value in book if you want to sharpen up on your knowledge.

⭐This book explains stock trading from it’s history to current online trading with very good information on fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Great detail in how to use both to be a successful trader.

⭐I’m finding that the author is teaching too far over my head. I guess I needed a book written for very dumb dummies?

⭐If you are new to trading and want to get a simple overview get this book, It has many great tips and helps explain some of the terms and stratigies that are very complicated in a way you can understand. Order it and learn how to build up a portifolio.

⭐Great book, lots of good information on trading the stock market. Good introduction for a beginner to get started making money in the markets.

⭐As a small time amateur trader myself I bought this book to get an understanding of how more professional individual traders operate and it has certainly given me a good basis of background information on that. However, despite their assertions to the contrary, the writers seem quite involved with Technical Analysis and systemic methods of slightly controversial short term speculation and entry and exit strategies which may not suit every investor and certainly not me. Maybe that is after all how most traders operate.I suppose I was looking for more detail and knowledge than I have on the study of company fundamentals, picking good stocks, how individual stock prices in different sectors relate to overall market conditions and how to cope with that. In short, how does one invest with a good solid long term strategy? Some aspects of all this were covered, but not in any great depth.Overall a useful guide to what other traders are doing and thinking in the markets and for me a view from a very different angle. Be advised that the book is very much based on American trading and markets, but of course a lot of that stuff is international these days anyway.
