But it is of outstanding value as a reference or for refreshing your knowledge if you already studied the subject.Prof Triebel covers all the necessary mathematics for modern physics: Calculus, function theory, Hilbert spaces, topology and their application in quantum mechanics and special and general relativity.It seems almost impossible to cover that much ground in only one book but Prof. Triebel manages to do so by relentlessly concentrating the material to the bare bone necessary. Makes for dense reading but is invaluable if you want to get to the bottom of a subject as quickly as possible.
