⭐The writing is far too dry to be an effective introduction to DE text. The theory is plentiful, but the practical applications and problem solving methods are lacking. I have found the book is best as a resource to reinforce what is taught in class, rather than something to read in preparation for class.

⭐The publisher has chosen to make this book unavailable on the Kindle Cloud. So you are locked into reading the book only on a device you have the Kindle App available to you. I purchased this book so I should be able to read it whenever I want and on whichever device or computer I choose !!!! My university bookstore sold out of this specific edition so I’m stuck with this mess as my instructor is also forced to use the 11th edition for his class. It’s beyond me why Amazon would agree to this publishers demands that the book not be made available on the Kindle Cloud…

⭐the book was fine. but ive gone to redownload it as a reference and it has dissapeard from my content library. and its not the only one.??

⭐11 Editions so students cant use older editions at lower cost. Some info is rearranged, some problems changed a bit. What a frustrating business. Because its relation to education, they arent forced by competition or outcry to change either. I can personally google the last 10 editions as a free PDF, but this 11th one is scrubbed for now. I wonder how much money they pour in keeping it off the easily accessed web…

⭐I downloaded an E version. I still find it useful to be able to mark up a hardcopy.
