User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This is the best general intro to MATLAB that I know of. As an experienced user I did find some nuggets that I had missed.

⭐Excellent

⭐good

⭐A very good account; the best I’ve read so far. I’ve used Matlab for a year or so, but mostly by trial and error. This gave a clear account of principles, in a very concise way, so I now feel I have much stronger framework on which to hang the fragmentary knowledge I’ve been accumulating. There’s 60 pages of solutions to the exercises, which help when you get stuck, and a 15-page glossary of commands for a quick overview before struggling with the “Help”. There’s no mention of tables, only 4 pages on cell arrays, and a similar amount on structs, but I feel much better prepared to do data analysis, rather than calculation, than I was.

⭐This book is very well written, it is however outdated. Many of the commands as well as concepts thoroughly explored in the book such as ‘Notebook’, ‘MuPAD’ and ‘GUIDE’ are no longer recommended in the newer versions of MATLAB.

⭐Very good book for Matlab… easy to understand for a programmer..

⭐Good product

⭐Arrived on time. Condition of book exactly as described. Happy with purchase.
