⭐I appreciated the presentation of complex concepts and topics in a clear voice, without being condescending. The Little Book also presents a timeline of scientific discovery that provides a frame of reference for explanations of different schools of thought. The use of analogies for explanations was also very helpful in avoiding philosophical rabbit holes. All in all, a good vehicle for stepping out of the mundane and into a larger perspective.

⭐This book about science for a general audience is one of the best ever written. The author is, first of all,a professional physicist working in the field of cosmology. Second, he is a prolific writer in many areas ofgeneral cultural interest in a very accessible style.The book gives a concise, yet full view of the latest research on how our universe was and came tobe what it is now. Somehow he manages to get the current picture and current problems across withno mathematics. Just carefully constructed sentences and a few pictures.
