Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐This was disappointing for a geek who likes to work the nuts and bolts of programming because much of this book gives instruction about using the Access program’s built-in wizards but not so much about how to make things happen when the wizard doesn’t produce the effect desired. I got a lot more useful information by searching on-line for specific directions.

⭐Arrived quickly and at a good price. I’ve programmed in VBA for my Access databases ever since the software was released, but a few little things have changed in the last 25 years and this simple reference can quickly set me straight when I run into a minor change.

⭐I am using MS ACCESS for some time and still as a refresher I have to recommend this book. The author managed to guide the reader through the chapters by always pointing out issues with older versions that has been taking care of. In general a good technical book that will assist anyone with only the minimum MS ACCESS knowledge.

⭐I borrowed a VBA book from a programmer buddy of mine at work to try to teach myself, but it was a developers’ reference and most of it was way over my head. I bought this book, and it is much better for someone like me, who has had little to no exposure to VBA and programming in general.

⭐I have rarely been disappointed with Dummies Books on any subject. You won’t get a lot of depth, but hey, that’s not the point of Dummies Books. You will get:An excellent overview of usable basic codeEasy to read & followHelpful & clear advice

⭐This is a really well written and instructive book. It has excellent examples including a complete VBA function example for converting a dollar amount into a combination dollar and word format for printing a check. Great! Just what I needed to write an Access VBA small business accounting program that tracks and prints checks.

⭐Can’t believe how good this book was. Easy to read and lots of good information. An excellent resource for those getting started.

⭐Bought this to finish a project at work. This book is a very broad overview as it should be with some practical examples at the end. Worked well for what i needed

⭐for those learning VBA this is a good book, but be warned that as you advance into the realm of automation (programming) you will find that this book does not have enough detail to allow completion of projects. I ended up getting most of my information from google searches and (erm) stealing and modifying code found on the internet.good for beginners… useless for programming vba code beyond the simple stuff

⭐I found this a very good introduction to Access VBA even though I am familiar with Excel VBA etc. I had bought some other books and could not quite understand what they were talking about! ( I am over 60!). This book however made everything very clear. Wish I had bought it first!Well worth it.

    ⭐Excellent staff, thank you.

    ⭐It’s not that bad.

⭐Does what it says on the cover
