Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I found the book useless for me on the later levels of Premiere Elements. If you’re using an early version, then it might be useful, but the book is dated 2005.

⭐The “Dummie” series is a great starting point for learning something like software because the program you are using (any program) has many hidden features that don’t make themselves obvious. The beauty of a book like this is you can get the conceptual knowledge that something is possible, but you will still have to sit down and work out the details yourself. No book can do that for you! And things always seems easy when you watch someone else do something or read about it in a book…maybe I’m just slow!!! 🙂

⭐I picked two books on Adobe Premiere Elements (PE) when I started tweaking videos: this one and the Classroom in a Box.I guess I’m a hard core ForDummies fan! I like the casual language, the fun approach to learning anything.Don’t let the fun fool you though, this book is full of information on every aspect of PE. Everything you need to know about video capture, editing, formatting, sharing, uploading, safekeeping and a long etc.Classroom in a Box was stuffy and lacked the background information I need and crave when learning anything. I wrote a review on that book and it bothered me that every time that any information was given it was taken straight out of the PE help file.In contrast, Adobe PE for Dummies has everything anyone needs to know to learn how to take, edit, burn and share videos, long and short, complex and simple, for fun or work. This book is easy to read cover to cover, great as a reference. I have not found any question that it did not answer. Well worth it, well written.

⭐Very disappointed. The edition is for 7 years ago. Much of the info is out of date and thus the book is nearly useless. Be careful to make sure that you are buying an edition that is current to you r software.

⭐I bought a new iMac and wanted a simple set of instructions on how to use it. This book didn’t do that. I often found that I was lacking certain knowledge the author presumed.

⭐a newer version would be better but this is still useful

⭐THIS BOOK IS OVER 10 YEARS OLD,,,I thought it was from 2014,,NO,, its from 2004…..;I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY EVEN SELL THIS, TOTAL RIP OFF,,,,,,I guess i should know not to trust that Amazon wouldn’t sell something totally out of date

⭐Well written and I couldn’t have used this program with just the help function built in. Well worth the cost.

⭐The book is rubbish. The seller (Amazon) has not made it clear that the Adobe Premiere Elements referred to in the title bears no resemblance to the present day version (13). Why sell a book that is so out of date and more importantly not tell the buying public!!!It is of no use to me (I don’t have a video tape recorder!!!!)Absolute con

⭐This is a very well written, but it is not written for Premiere Elements 7. If you have an older version enjoy it, but I bought it becasue Amazon bundled it with my order for 7, and it is out of date. Amazon hopefully will sort this, but ‘Caveat Emptor’!

⭐I needed a guide with simple explanations of complex protocols. This book’s the best I’ve found for that. I would recommend it for anyone – technophobe or technonut!

⭐this really doesn’t work as a kindle book. You cant enlarge he pictures of screenshots. Also it doesn’t reflect Premiere 15 – its very old!

    ⭐Great product, great service
