Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Definitely not the best book available on the subject but i was rather surprised with how well written the book was and relatively helpful i found it. No glaring mistakes and easy to navigate the information. I wouldn’t suggest this for a college level course but for a beginner this book could serve them quite well and i would definitely suggest it for them.

⭐This book can be a little over technical at times, unlike the Algebra I Essentials for Dummies which was a little more user friendly. About 50 percent of this was covered in an Intermediate Algebra college course. The rest of it, I found very useful for brushing up for the next class I took: College Algebra. But the book puts a huge emphasis on factoring (something many instructors assume you know how to do by now).

⭐I don’t know how this book would work on the 8.9″ HDX, but it’s not worth getting for the 7″ HDX.The text reads fine, but you need a magnifying glass to read any equation. The accessibility options to increase the text will make the equation readable, but then the rest of the text goes beyond both edges of the screen… and swiping the screen to read the enlarged text is just as liable to change your page a it is to bring you to the edge. Then when downsizing the page back to normal (three taps), it *may* downsize the screen, but then again it may send you on an adventure to try to find the page you were on.Do not buy this book for use on a 7″ HDX.

⭐Gives good information but not easy to understand

⭐Explanations are thorough and easy to follow. I use it as a refresher for occasionally helping my granddaughter (which usually means just checking her work for errors or explaining a concept she is a bit confused about). It has been fun to work math problems again!

⭐The content is awesome but its not suitable for Kindle, all of the equations and the work done is so small even blowing up the font doesn’t make it easily readable. This was a waste of money and which I could get a refund. Really pissed off honestly because it looks like people have complained about this for at least 2 years and its still not fixed.

    ⭐Ok

⭐Very much need and thankful for the simplicity in direction and ease of use.

⭐The book begins with a summary of algebra 1. The summary felt far too long in my opinion, and anyone who read algebra 1 should have enough understanding to skip it. However the ideas presented in the book were very well explained in good detail. It involved key ideas such as Quadratics and explains them at each different viewpoint.

    ⭐very good
