Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I bought this book because I have an anger problem and my spouse has an anger problem. This book helped me to recognize that I have a significant challenge with anger management and it has given me tactics to deal with my anger problem, as well as, how to cope and diffuse my spouses anger problem. In fact, my spouse has recognized my progress in managing my own anger and has read a few chapters of the book too. He actually admitted he suffers from anger, which he used to deny. That’s amazing!I read many chapters of the book and when I feel angry, I open it up on my smart phone, pick a random chapter that sounds interesting, and learn something new about managing my anger and ultimately leading a happier life.

⭐I purchased two anger management books the same day. The other one (“The Anger Workbook” 1993) was absolutely useless. Probably dated, above all. THIS book, on the other hand, is a gem. Insightful, tested theories, meaningful anecdotes, and positive guides to actually stem your anger levels. The author admits that he once believed in one method but has changed his mind (and his therapies) because the new way is better. I love a person who can admit he is still learning! You won’t be sorry when you buy this book.

⭐I decided to tackle my anger…which I did not think I had a big problem but my good friends told me it was an issue. I use to let my anger build up and then blow up at the person several weeks later. This book is amazing! It gives you real insight as to where your anger comes from . Then it teaches you how to prevent the anger from building and techniques to use so it does not escalate. I refer back to this book when needed.

⭐Good, informative information on this topic.

⭐When I read “try telling someone in the middle of a rage to count to 10”, I knew the author understood that a rage isn’t something you tackle while you’re having one, but something to tackle BEFORE hand. The author writes well and doesn’t make someone with anger issues feel like a bad person, but rather someone who needs to deal with their issues and make changes to prevent future outbursts. Well written.

⭐I buy these for people I know and an organization I belong to. Every one should have one of these and then we wouldn’t be balancing the budget with wars.Shipping was fast, packaging was great and and book was in great shape.Steve

⭐the best work ever on the subject. the author is very knowledgeable and down to earth. he doesn’t say much about his own background and previous writings (so I’m going to google him)…

⭐Even though you are probably not a dummy, this is still a good book!

⭐The condition of the book was marketed as ‘Used’ ‘Good as New’ when it wasn’t! Perhaps by reading the book I anticipate that I will be less upset about the matter and take it on the chin.

⭐To expound on my subject line: it is the only book you will need for basic anger management. or at least for an introduction to SELF-HELP anger management. For bigger problems, you probably need more than just reading a book. In my case, I would fall under “constant irritation and episodic anger”, and this book was just right for me.

    ⭐for work

⭐I liked this book a lot, a differentiated – unemotional- approach to the topic. Great to get an overwiew and start where you interest lies. A good, broad approach. Could be a little more in depth in certain areas.Like it, found it helpful, it has a bunch of good hints, fun to read, not preachy!

⭐I use these books as a text for a “Reconstructing Anger” program that I facilitate. The books are easy to read, non-judgmental, practical, personable and well laid out as a manual.
