Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐I don’t think it’s going to help you this time considering how Android development has drastically improved. There are still good stuffs you can absorb from this book like the concepts and good practice in coding. Or if you want to know the basic and foundation may be and to understand how complicated or time consuming it was to build app in earlier Android. It’s already year 2020. You might as well grab a Kotlin book and focus on Jetpack library. That’s just my opinion though.

⭐”App Inventor 2, Create your own Android Apps” has been written by those involved in the creation of this program. It caters for both new and experienced users alike and is a valuable reference. The book is divided into two parts. The first 200 plus pages comprise a series of interesting projects which become progressively more complex. In doing so each important aspect of “App Inventor” is covered. Possible improvements are posed at the conclusion of each project. I recommend that you do these exercises. The second section, “Inventor’s Manual”, explains the architecture behind” App Inventor”. Each concept is illustrated with examples which range from simple to advanced. The advanced concepts included persistent data storage, animation, global positioning, and sensor interaction. The book is well illustrated and all examples are clearly explained. In my opinion it is a must have book.

⭐Use this book for a beginners coding/mobile app developer course. The book is well designed, easy to navigate and follow along for ANY beginner. Book is in perfect new condition, quick shipping, great seller, very happy with purchase. If you are somewhat experienced in mobile app development I feel this book would not be a challenge. Although it’s perfect for any beginner like myself, you can sometimes find YouTube videos which also follow along with some of the chapters in the book; which was helpful in the beginning since I was 100% clueless.

⭐The best introductory to App Inventor 2. Very detailed tutorials and very easy to follow instructions for BEGINNERS. I like this book I often revisit the tutorials. Five Stars doesn’t do justice to this book. I recommend this book to all the mature adults that are trying to keep up with technology or just want to learn something new.

⭐If you are considering this book because you believe you will make an app, don’t. They have a website and the book teaches you how to become their customer.

⭐I purchased this eBook to help me learn to build an app that surprisingly doesn’t exist anywhere on the market. The book is easy to follow, builds skills quickly, and has useful examples throughout. If you’re wanting to build apps, this book is the one for you. I have only 1 semester of programming experience and I did horrible. This programming technique is awesome!

⭐I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to create Android apps, there is something there for the beginner and a new tool for the experienced. You need a little knowledge of programming as far as syntax is concerned but the way the book is laid out with the examples one can pick it up. The book helps inexperienced programmers that just want to do a personal app for their personal use and opens the door to more experienced developers to build upon more complicated apps that can be built faster. All in all a good buy.

⭐I am not a computer expert, and from the older generation, but even I understand what needs to be done. Very well written. Kudos for the programming behind the curtain, to offer so easy “blocks of programming” to the every day user. It gave me ideas for programming my own special app.

⭐Great intro to both app inventor but also to Android coding. I am a professional programmer and have written basic apps in Java, but this is so much easier and I reckon at least half the apps on the market could be built using this. Very impressive both as an educational tool but also as a bona fide development option for any straightforward android app project.

⭐Exactly as expected.

⭐bit basic to be honest.

Vale.
