Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐For an Autocad user such as myself who wanted to get to know the program better; this was a dud. This looks like a doctorial thesis someone wrote who didn’t have the license to show the basic menus.YouTube is a much better place to pick up on the menus; how to use them; and if you’re really serious there are programs you can subscribe to that allows you to learn the programs on your own.

⭐This book is good if you like to learn software by reading books, and the value of the book is that it gives you a place to start, if you are clueless. It is important to know the general basics of drafing and using CAD software. This book has a nice organization and a friendly way of getting a new user, or a user that has been away from CAD softare for a long time, to catch-up, and come into the 21st century to learn how things are done with tons of icon menus, rather than the old-fashioned way of memorizing hundreds of command-line sequences (am I dating myself?) For those who are wanting to get started, but are timid, this is a good starting point. There is much more to know, but you can get that from help menus, or also from more advanced books. Help menus are a lot better than they used to be.

⭐Autocad for Dummies is exactly what I needed. I used Autocad years ago but needed both a refresher and where to find some of the functions. Autocad for Dummies made that very easy to find and get back up to speed. The service from Amazon was very fast the book arrived within 2-3 days of the order, faster than promised.

    ⭐Good book.

⭐I have a large collection of “Dummies” books. Each book has a quick reference on material that is not used everyday.

⭐This book is a great way for beginners to get started in AutoCad and a great way of orientating us old dogs to new trick and functions introduced in fresh a new format. I would highly recommend reading AutoCad 2011 Dummies to quickly get up and running for the beginners and a new fresh exciting way of doing things in Auto Cad for us old farts. 🙂

⭐At 48 yoa i have taken on a part time college course for autocad. You can download autocad for free to practice on and this book is the perfect companion to use as reference, as well as learning additional tricks that are not taught on the course. The book is informatative and easy to use just what a beginner needs.

⭐Fast delivery. A good book to learn Cad

⭐Must be the 5th or 6th Dummies book I have bought, and the standard is still very high. A difficult subject broken down into manageable bites. Highly recommended
