⭐ Good reading

⭐ This is just another one of a long list of fascinating read from James Hadley Chase. This ranks among my favourites

⭐ Another interesting tale well told. JHC stories are always to varied in style and are not formulaic in the least

⭐ A thriller in which various actors, from sinister gangsters to police detectives, come together in a gripping narrative. Interestingly, the story shows how police work proceeds from piecing together clues and following leads. As a result, the fault lines in a seemingly slick kidnapping are exposed.

⭐ Another superfast thriller from the master, I read it, almost, in a single sitting… Salute to the King!!!

⭐ He used to be my favourite author when I was a young fellow, and even today I get the same thrill when I read it.

⭐ The story started slow, picked up pace and then when the story was getting good, it was almost spoilt by the rushed ending.

⭐ Always the best- James Hadley Chase

⭐ Fantastic fictional work – one of the best of Chase! Reading it again after almost twenty years was as gripping as it was in the first reading.
