Buddhism and Bioethics is the first book to discuss contemporary issues in bioethics from a Buddhist perspective. Written in a clear and accessible style by a leading expert in field, and drawing on both ancient and modern sources, it shows how Buddhist ethical teachings can offer a fresh perspective on controversial issues like abortion and euthanasia.

⭐Brilliant discussion of an extremely important topic. A must read for for both beginning and advanced students of Religion and Ethics.

⭐A clear and consise description of this diverse and complex subject. The only downside is that Keown only looks at Southern Buddhism.

    ⭐Good

⭐To understand Damien Keown, multiple readings are sometimes needed. It is worth while to make the effort though. Recommended reading.
