Kōya and has written and edited several volumes including Tantric Buddhism in East Asia (Wisdom, 2005).

⭐An excellent collection of articles. With 87 chapters, this was surely a massive undertaking for the editors. Each article provides at least a solid introduction on its respective topic. They are separated into sections covering general terms in esoteric Buddhism and then their historical manifestations in China, Korea, and Japan.
