⭐This is a very thorough, comprehensive textbook from Calculus, for beginning Calculus I through what most programs would consider Calculus III. It is well-organized, moving progressively through the subject, and there are an abundance of exercises for the student at the end of each section to practice and test the student’s knowledge.I suspect that if someone thoroughly grounded in the necessary prerequisites very carefully and painstakingly went through this book sentence by sentence, equation by equation, spending as much time as it took to carefully parse each piece before moving on to the next piece, and working every single problem until he or she was certain that they had correctly solved the problem and knew how and why that solution worked, it might be possible for them to learn the material solely from this book. But it might take 10 years or more of at least 3 or 4 solid hours a day, five days a week, to do so. If one tries to attack it any less diligently than that, a student not already familiar with the material and fluent in the symbology and language of higher level math will soon find him or herself thoroughly lost; this book is far from user-friendly.It accomplishes what it sets out to accomplish quite well, so I’ll give it four stars; I’ll reserve the fifth star for a book that can do it in language that is more accessible.

⭐I used this book in Calculus 1, 2, 3, and a little bit of Differential Equations. It gives a thorough overview of introductory calculus concepts and applications (such as basic volumes and related rates problems), sequences and series, and vector calculus. It even includes an introduction to Diff Eq, with separable and first order linear equations. Each section has several examples and homework problems. It is very easy to read through the examples to identify the source of your confusion if you are hang trouble. Like most math books, all odd numbered homework problems have answers in the back of the book, and you can even buy solutions manuals that will step you through more problems than you know what to do with. This book lacks nothing when it comes too teaching the fundamentals of calculus.

⭐If you are buying this book, it is likely because your calc professor said you have to and you don’t care about this review, but just incase you do: this is not the best book. Everything is explained, but it is not always clear when the authors go through their proofs, which I personally like to know. If you are able to choose your own book, I would suggest looking at the one by Stewart, it doesn’t cover as many topics, but it is cheaper and more thorough in its explanation.

⭐I had to get this book for a class, but to be honest, it’s extremely difficult to grasp things using it. I really don’t find it useful when I have no idea what my teacher is talking about. Sigh.

⭐Great price for the book! No way was I going to buy this from the university. There are some spelling errors, but it’s nothing you can’t get over. I actually like the examples and explanations.

⭐The textbook has many good examples and practice problems for studying. The examples are well defined and explained, and the practice problems are great for applying the material.

⭐This book is for my class. I haven’t used it yet but look forward too. It was just like it was described by the seller.

⭐My college book store was charging over $200 for this book, but this seller had it priced MUCH more reasonably. The condition was like brand new!! It was exactly what I needed and got to me in no time. I would recommend this seller to anyone!

⭐Exactly what I wanted! Brand new, and it explains concepts in a clear manner. Contents are organized. Might be SLIGHTLY more advanced than some Calculus texts.
