Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:
⭐I was having trouble with my Vista based machine and wanted to figure out what was going wrong and how to fix it. I have purchased quite a few books in the For Dummies series, so based upon my previous experiences bought the book. Some people might find this book very informative and helpful, but I did not. The one takeaway I had was to purchase a program that would clean and repair my computer’s registry.I went through a couple of highly rated programs to get my computer running smoothly again, but only when I installed Norton 360 was everything cleaned up. After I ran the repairs with Norton, I didn’t have a use for this book. Now that Windows 7 is out, and Norton works on both Vista and Windows 7, I simply do not see value in this book.
⭐I like the guidance: Cleaning Windows Vista by Allen Wyatt. I will recommend such for an early Beginner Level of a Windows Vista System, or best for before even having to own a Vista System Level. I want more, little more of depth on cleaning/maintenance of a Vista System. The Guidance adds variation, character, and information into my set. Thank You, Everybody & Amazon.com.
⭐Stratforward, well written
