⭐I have browsed through the book but have yet to read different sections in-depth and critically.My impression is that it is very well organized, succinct and to the point. It is quite accessible to those who have at least a bit of graduate school level of knowledge in Control Theory when it comes to the treatment of modern multivariable control systems because it is very well written and lucid.It takes a fairly general approach in that covers modern multivariable control from different aspects. Derivations are kept to a minimum and will serve the practicing engineer well if he or she is not too interested in rigor and mathematical intensity. There is also an abridged reference to Pontryagin’s Maximum (or Minimum) Principle and related derivations utilizing the Calculus of Variations approach to attacking the LQ and LQG control problems found mostly in older textbooks.In any event, I was hoping to see a more thorough and detailed treatment of H-infinity control concepts given that I was raised on H-2 or the classical optimal control approach when it comes to multivariable control systems. I bought the book hoping to bridge the gap I feel is missing in my knowledge when it comes to the so-called robust H-infinity approach versus the older and established H-2 (LQ and LQG) methodology. I thought a contrast between the two approaches would be quite interesting, attractive and intellectually stimulating from a robustness vantage point.All in all, a very fine and clearly written book (without obfuscations) authored by two reputable Swedish experts in Control Theory for those interested in the applications of modern multivariable control systems.

⭐A very well written book and quite suitable for an introductory graduate course in multi variable control. Good Matlab code, easy exposition and written by two prominent teachers in this area.

⭐The lack of books in the multivariable and nonlinear methods, which explain the subject very user freindly, makes many problem for students and control instructors in universities. This book is a spark in the control field and it can be used for course book properly. On the other hand , the advanced material of book leads the reader to boost his/her background in the control Theory.

⭐waste of money.The book just gives some equations meaninglessly.Do not buy it.Language also is poor.
