⭐It’s a very good book. It will provide meaning to precalculus math lectures, that may otherwise be boring. Yes, there are no answers to the provided problems, but having computers in this day and age helps verifying your answers to the problems (Hint: GeoGebra) and let’s be honest, the problems are not that difficult. As with every math book you should be careful how you read this one, don’t try to go linearly through it, but read a chapter, solve some basic problems, gain a broad understanding of the chapter and then move on. This will keep you interested and you will be able to finish the entire book this way. After you have a cursory understanding of the entire book, return to the problems you haven’t solved on your previous pass. Remember, it’s not the grade you receive, but the understanding you gain, that really matters.

⭐Published in 1939, and looks like it. The only 2 good diagrams in the book are on the cover. The book contains only a small amount of small and poorly printed charts and graphs. The text is in “paragraph” form and reads more like a novel than a math book. The problems are not helpful because there are no answers. This book needs a teacher, an answer sheet and a blackboard with diagrams. This book is not for a self-taught situation. Buy something else. I’m sending this one back.
