Description

This study presents Einstein’s theory of space and time in detail, and describes the large-scale structure of space, time and velocity as a new cosmological special relativity. A cosmological Lorentz-like transformation, which relates events at different cosmic times, is derived and applied.

⭐You normally associate Cosmology with General Relativity, but Carmeli shows in this excellent book that you can have deep and significant results when you link Cosmology with Special Relativity. Even though the author starts with a brief introduction of SR he quickly and accurately goes into the Cosmological implications of SR, including the extension of the Lorentz Group, Structure of Spacetime, implications to Mass, energy and momentum, etc. he even has 3 appendices with topics like Cosmological GR, 5 dim. Branes and Cosmic temperature. This book is a must for a physicist or a Relativist enthusiast (like myself).
