Description

The book describes the quantum underworld of space, a source of energy that we should be able to harness. It is important because it discloses how matter in the form of protons, the nuclei of hydrogen atoms, are created by the ongoing activity of that source of energy.

⭐Harold Aspden (1927-2011) had 3 big toes: one on his left foot, one on his right foot, and one born around 1955 at Cambridge. His PhD work there and then addressed magnetism in crystalline structures such as iron. With characteristic iconoclasm he extended his insights to a working model of aethers, self-publishing his first work in this area in 1960 as a small pamphlet entitled “Gravitation”.You may ask, “Are you saying Aspden has a valid Theory Of Everything (TOE)? And what has magnetism in crystals to do with gravitation?”Einstein tried unsuccessfully to unite gravitational theory with electromagnetism. Aspden’s work achieves this long-sought unification.Furthermore, quantum dynamic explanations of particle physics are uncomfortably partitioned off from gravity and electromagnetism. One result is that physics is riddled with self-denying, paradoxical inconsistencies. How, for example, can a photon exist? It is said both to have energy and to travel at light speed. Sorry — you can have one or the other, but not both — unless you are comfortable with every photon having infinite energy.Dr. Aspden’s final work “Creation: The Physical Truth” is a charming read for the intelligent layman. In the 21st century we generally accept matter-energy transformations with the understanding that a little bit of matter corresponds to a whole lot of energy. But few have any idea how a proton is created from energy. Sad but true, because explaining where a photon comes from goes a long way toward explaining the origin of 99% of the mass in the universe.Protons materialize from aether energy. Aether theory was denigrated from the beginning of the 20th century in favor of mathematical, unphysical abstraction: the theory of relativity. 100 years later we can assuredly say that the Theory of Relativity is at best worthless, and therefore we have wasted a century on mathematical nothingness. What, you may ask, is aether if not nothingness?Well, I’m reminded of the professorial fish addressing his school: “Class, if you study hard and do all your homework, one day if you’re lucky you might discover that most magical and mysterious quantity, water.”Aspden’s aether model features a liquid-crystal-like substance filling all space including the interstices of matter. The model provides a physical basis for understanding photon creation, gravitation as an electromagnetic force, such physical measurements as the fine structure constant and the mass ratio of the proton to the electron, Maxwell’s displacement current, and much more.Study of Harold’s most important TOE is easily commenced with a savory reading of “Creation: The Physical Truth”. Recognizing the aether will eventually lead some of us to discover magical and mysterious processes for tapping aether energy.

⭐« In this book Aspden summarizes his progress toward a life-long ambition: to substitute pregnant aether theory in place of sterile Relativity Theory. Neither Albert Einstein nor his followers have succeeded in unifying gravity, electrodynamics, and quantum mechanics; the Theory of Relativity fails as a “theory of everything”. Unquestioned adherence to its tenets forestalls many alternatives, one of the most promising being recognition of one or more aethers. Aspden in advancing aether theory points out that scientific acceptance of an aether was prevalent and promising from the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century, but it fell from favor when Einstein advanced a philosophy proclaiming it unnecessary. Yet in 1960 Aspden published an aether-based theory showing gravitation to be an electrodynamic phenomenon; he derived the gravitational constant G from first principles. Also, in 1972 he predicted the value of the fine structure constant with part-per-million precision years before it was measured to this accuracy. Modern aether theory explains how matter in proton form is created from energy in the aether, why matter is subject to gravitational force, the factors determining the electron:proton mass ratio, how stars form, and why angular momentum is so prevalent throughout the universe. All this and more are elucidated in this gem of a book.Aspden states in the introduction that “the text is intended to be read by the general reader having an interest in science, a moderate understanding of physics and some basic mathematics”. Such a reader will be rewarded with coherent explanations of many unresolved puzzles in today’s physics, for example the nature of the photon, red-shifted light from distant stars (assuming the Big Bang theory of an expanding universe to be unsatisfactory), periodic reversals of the Earth’s magnetic poles, cold fusion (aka low-energy nuclear reactions), and “impossible” free energy devices such as the Methernitha electrical generator. The book also serves as an overview of much of Aspden’s work: over one hundred peer-reviewed technical papers, dozens of articles and reports on his web sites […] and […] and his books. All of his previous books are available on-line. A publication of potential interest to readers of this review, accessible from […] is “The Physics of Creation” but it is limited to explaining technical aspects of creation and omits many of the human interest and cosmological themes covered engagingly in “Creation – the Physical Truth”. »[…]
