User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Awesome book.really fast delivery! I have had my pencil and calculators out enjoying absolutely riviting geometry. Highly recomended to any insomniac mathematician Thank you again for getting the book out to me so quickly

⭐This was the product I was expecting. It came quickly. I would suggest the provider to my friends for their needs.

⭐My profile. 42 yo (2006) Sales Engineer, math curiousI bought this book several years ago (1991 edition) when it was still affordable. I was intriguied by the comments of others readers so I gave it a try and Im glad, its full of graphics and just enogh info on the subject that one is forced to delve deeper in internet resulting each topic in a wonderful exploratory trip.

⭐I was asked to enrich a school geometry course. Not much came off the top of my head. After discovering this book, I had so many leads I can enrich for years! It gave an insight into every topic covered in the standard course. It adds so much for those who want to teach more than just a method to get an answer.

⭐This book is full of wonderful theorems and other facts about geometry. But don’t miss an equally wonderful book of his – The Penguin Dictionary of Curious and Interesting Numbers. When I semi-retired several years ago, I gave away many of my math books, but I would not part with these two.

⭐An intruiging book, there is so much fascinating geometry and Mr. Wells covers a wide range of it. There are almost no proofs, but once a theorem is given then recourse can be made to the internet for the proof.

⭐Thanks to the seller sending me a second time, with the other book (Geometry, by P. Abbott). This book in very rich in graphic and covers every aspect in Geometry.

⭐I like attention to detail and this book has detail. And fully lives up to its title. I like that it sticks to curious and interesting geometry and doesn’t get bogged down in academic rigor.

⭐This contained variations on a theme and many “puzzles” that were totally impractical and not worth consideration but for the complicated solution.
