⭐I came from an engineering background and found this book accessible. It works out good examples which illustrate the concepts at hand. This is one of the book’s greatest assets and also one of its flaws. Some of the examples contain typos which can be confusing when you are trying to learn. However, the text is generally clear enough that you can figure out where mistakes were made. All in all I think this is a good book if you want to jump into DOA and modeling for computer experiments. It gives a nice overview with enough depth to be useful.

⭐This book mainly contains references to many articles containing the original and extended ideas. White you read it, you’ll constantly find that it only explains topics very briefly and you’ll have to search further in the references therein. I suggest you search for the reference list and read it instead.
