⭐Great Read! This book is very informational! I started out completely oblivious to toxins and health. After reading this book I now better understand how the body functions, why nutrients/minerals are important and how toxins affect the body. If you’re looking for a detoxing schedule or plan of action this book may not be what you want. However, if you’re looking to receive more info on the functioning of your body, the do’s and don’ts of life and your overall health, then this book is a great place to start
⭐Very in depth and valuable information. Gives quick and informative insight to many phases of food and diets. Will for sure find one that fits you and also give you incentive to eat healthy.
⭐This book covered it all. Written by an authority on the subject of dealing with the toxins that invade our stomachs through the food chain everyday. Should be in every kitchen.

Author has written this in a no-nonsense way with suggestive ideas and opinions, without sounding overbearing or pushy, and without the do-or-die tone!! The concept is logical, although the strength to follow through, ultimately falls of you, of course!!

⭐I read extracts of this book on Google Books and decided to purchase it. Little did I know that this book is written by a doctor who is a follower of Scientology and is involved in deaths of 3 people in a Scientology-ran rehabilitation center somewhere in the USA. Look it up. I do not mind other people having religious or other beliefs, but please stop selling books aimed at general public with hidden messages, promotions for your cause or belief. If I wanted to read more about Ron L Hubbard, I would buy a book about him, not a Dummy’s Guide to Detox Diets. Same goes for all the other books that intend to “purify” you with the help of Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and other religious indoctrinations. I really hate these sneaky religious books that try to gently nudge you toward one quackery or the other. In my library I have the Bible and various other books about Buddhism and Islam, from the major ‘religions’, but please please stop treating people like idiots and trying to sell religious ideas wrapped in everyday topic mantel.

⭐Although I find there is too much jargon at the beginning, I guess you need these basic facts before really getting into the detox program. Very well written.
