User’s Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐If a book promises plane, solid, non-Euclidean geometry and more, You may assume, that it will deliver poorly, and this is what happened here. In spite of the authors having prooved their knowledge in excellent publications (the best: “Advanced Euclidean geometry”, 2002 by Key College Publishing), in this book they address too many topics. The chapters linger too long in baby-geometry and (worse) baby-exercises. A counterargument would insist, that the different themes must be introduced appropriately, but, even on more than 600 pages in small print, there is not enough space left for questions in depth. So if You want an elementary introduction to geometry and have a big lot of time to spend, then this book could be the right one for You. Otherwise, the search for good literature on the subject of Euclidean geometry continues.

⭐It is a decent, competent presentation of Euclidean Geometry as taught in the Freshperson year of High School. The only problem that I see is that this book is VERY similar (up to many statements taken ) to the book with the same title but published by authors; the same two as here and also one J. Houston Banks. Generally, something like this is practiced by academic mathematicians.

⭐This is an excellent geometry textbook. This book is an excellent option if you want to study geometry on your own. The solutions manual, which has answers to both even and odd numbered can be downloaded free from the publisher’s website […]

⭐I am a tutor and of all the textbooks my students bring in, I just wanted to say, this is my favorite. It is a good book and I like to work from it.

⭐Non sono stato soddisfatto. Sia i temi trattati, sia l’impostazione non sono all’altezza di questa superba materia. Un testo datato.. Non lo consiglio.
